Timber Boat Festival – art and story competition
Saturday 2nd November
As part of the Royal Motor Yacht Club’s annual Timber Boat Festival, there will be an illustrated short story competition.
Entries can be submitted at the RMYC or by emailing mcintosh.pepi@gmail.com
The RMYC is a not for profit organisation and the festival is organised by volunteers. All profits from the festival is donated to local charities.

2024 Current Services
Evolve offers a school pick-up service as well as holiday camp programs.
School Pick Up Service – shuttle buses run from local schools back to the Tennis Club and would love to offer this service to students at St Kevin’s. It’s a very popular program for working parents. They pick the kids up from school, bring them to the Club for a coaching session, and offer late supervision.
Holiday Camps – school camps are held each holidays, and offer free before & after care (7.30am – 5pm) another great & popular tennis program for working parents.
SOCCER – Kikoff
Friday Night Summer Soccer (U6-8)
Our Yearly Friday night Summer Soccer is expanding to include U8 this year. Come down with parents and watch the kids play across all four fields from 4-7pm on Friday nights. Grab a pizza and a drink in the Club after, U6 will start at 4pm with U7 at 5pm and U8 at 6pm. We’re limited to 8 teams per age group and the kids get a full hour of football fun for $27.50 per week.
October Holiday Camps
We’re running age based days on Sep30 & Oct 1/2/10/11 with 4 hours of football activity for just $60 per day. Spots filled up in July so registration will close when full.
Term 4 after School Coaching
Sessions will run on Monday and Tuesday.

SOCCER – Kikoff
In the October school holidays, we’re running age based days on September 30 & October 1st, 2nd, 10th and 11th, with 4 hours of football activity for just $60 per day.

Free family fun at the Parliament of New South Wales
Friday 11 October 9:30 am to 3:00 pm
Visit us at Australia’s oldest Parliament as it opens its doors for Family Fun Day, an open day packed with fun educational activities for families with children aged from 4 to 12 years. This year’s highlights include:
- Visiting our heritage chambers
- Giving a speech for an election campaign
- Participating in a committee role play
- Enjoying live music
- Making craft animals and objects
- Learning how to vote
