Welcome to St Kevin’s Dee Why.
Starting school is a very exciting time for your child and for you as parents. It is not uncommon for children and parents to be anxious about the process. The upcoming transition days are an opportunity for your children to spend time in the Kindergarten classroom and meet their new classmates. It is also a great opportunity for you to meet other Kindergarten parents and ask any questions you may have regarding your child starting school next year.
Note: Please ensure that your child wears enclosed shoes (runners or sandals), brings a hat, water bottle and a small snack for morning tea. A parent or guardian is required to attend the transition days.
Children and parents should make their way to the Kindergarten classroom, place their child’s bag on a hook outside the classroom and pick up their name tag / lanyard. Children and parents should then make their way to the hall ready for the ‘Play to Learn’ sessions.
